It's intimidating it can be for young drivers to get in the driver's seat of a car for the first time ever. I should know, I was in that position not too long ago. I remember, it was the day I turned 16 that everyone started getting on my case about learning how to drive to "relieve my parents of the burden". Unlike my peers, I was reluctant to even begin to learn, anticipating certain and immediate failure the moment I got behind a wheel, and I can't say that my friends' comments of "Oh my God, stay off the roads!" helped my confidence very much either.

I have been driving for nearly ten years now. I remember the time when I was still a student driver, I had to change driving instructors three times. All of them are male driving instructors which mostly I think have no much patience with student drivers. How I wished at that time that there are female driving instructors as well. The first time I enrolled for a driving lesson, the first thing I asked was if the school have female driving instructors. I just felt that I would be more comfortable with female driving instructors. Unfortunately, all instructors are male. I did not bother much to ask in other driving schools as the one I enrolled in was the best driving school in the city.

It was 1957, when my wife received the news that she had failed her modelling career, and would be out of work. With only my income being paid in, for the survival of my wife and I, we were advised to move from our beautiful semi-detached house, to a smaller, cheaper area, to avoid bankruptcy. My wifebrowsed several estate agents, everyday, looking for the right location for us to live. Eventually, after several weeks of no luck, we decided to settle for a village on the outskirts of a small countryside town. We knew it would be a bumpy ride… Jane knew that she needed to learn to drive now to be able to commute between the village and busier places. The problem was she did not dare go with driving schools uk because she had had an experience of which using driving schools uk, she had a crash using auto control in the car. The village we was in was described as a small country village, in North Yorkshire, where the nights were always murky and dull. The only noises ever heard in this small village were the loud sounds of young children in their village houses, drunken teenagers in the small claustrophobic, corner shops, and the middle-aged adults in ‘The Half Duck’ pub.The village was situated between York and Ripon. Its population was quite small - It consisted of only 25 people. Some people, mainly from the urban areas, such as York itself, said the people living in the village were brave, others exclaimed they were absolute fools. A small minority believed they were sane. It was due to the rumours, which had lingered on since 1930.

When I was 19 years old,I learnt Car driving and it was one memorable experience in my life. As i never owned a car, my parents suggested me to learn car drivingin a nearby driving school under the guidance of a proper driving instructor. But I was on a wrong view that it is a waste of time and money to learn car driving with the help of an Instructor and I decided to learn driving on my own by hiring an old car from a nearbycar mechanic shop. Nowadays, transportation are the major needs for our life. without transportation, we can not go anywhere. but now, some of the modern people do not know how to drive well.Many accidents happen nowadays as a result of the bad driving skills. it is happened because they are not usually taught by the driving school so they will drive as fast as they want without thinking about the rules and the effect for the other drivers.

I didn't learn to drive until I was thirty years old. Before then I didn't have enough money I had told people although the real reason I was nervous of learning to drive. My first lesson in a manual car was a disaster. I was just so hopeless at changing the gears. When I thought I was in first gear I would stall because I was really in third gear. When I got home I felt really unhappy and that evening my friend Jenny phoned. She was sorry to hear how badly my driving lesson had gone. When she found out my problem was with gears she suggested I had automatic driving lessons.

There were so many driving schools in the city to choose from it was just too hard to pick which one to start learning to drive with. Many of them were cheap which was a great bonus but some of the driving schools, I have to admit, just did not appeal to me in the slightest. I had heard some weird stories about some of them. How the instructors were nasty or impatient, or how an instructor almost nearly made somebody crash, or they never picked you up on time and just similar stories to that. I knew I needed to learn to drive because I was just completely fed up of travel on public transport. I hate buses so much and the drivers can be really nasty. For example, I was running late for a really important exam at college one time (and the reason I was late was because two buses had been missed out, by the way) so I finally get on a bus and when I get to get my pass out I realise I have left it at home as I was in a rush. I explain to the driver that I need to get to college quickly and ask politely if I can just have a free ride. Its not like I had to pay any way. And what does he do? he kicks me off the bus. So, I have to walk all the way home to get my pass and then I end up late for my exam. It was just awful. I knew now that I needed to find good driving schools and learn to drive. I knew if I was driving myself I would be a lot safe too, because I do not really feel safe or confident when driving with others.Eventually I decided to look at driving schools in the north of the city. This was where most of the driving schools were that were supposed to be really good and really popular. A few were a little more expensive than I originally planned but I knew I had a better chance of passing with them. I decided to eventually start learning with a school my best friend was learning with and it was not long before I passed my theory test and my driving test and had my driving licence in my hand. Now I just had to get a car.

With the population in the city and the rural areas around the city growing so fast, the number of cars on the streets are increasing at a tremendous rate too. With more people traveling to their work and back, people needing driver's licences are increasing too. Some prefer traveling by public buses, and hence the city has to increase the number of buses on the different routes too.

I want to learn how to drive for a really long time. I want to travel to different places and spots anytime at any given day. I envy my older brother because he was taught by my father how to drive the car. He didn't bother enrolling to a driving school. Too bad I was so young then. I was around 7 or 8 years old that time.
